What does a Handlush handle cover actually protect against?
A handle cover sits over your existing handle to help reduce everyday scratches, fingerprints, smudges, and general surface wear that build up from regular contact over time. It's a layer between your hand and the handle itself, so the handle underneath stays looking closer to how it did on day one.
Will it fit the handle I already have?
That depends on the shape and dimensions of your handle. Before ordering, we recommend checking the size and shape details listed on the product page against your own handle to confirm a good match. If you're not sure after checking, feel free to email us a quick measurement or photo and we'll help you figure out whether it's a fit.
Do I need any tools to install it?
No tools are required for installation. It's designed as a slip-on or wrap-style cover you can put in place by hand. That said, take your time lining it up on the first try — a slow, careful fit tends to sit better than rushing it.
Can I take it off and put it back on later, or is it a one-time install?
You can remove and reposition the cover as needed. It's not a permanent adhesive install, so if you want to take it off to clean the handle underneath, swap covers, or reposition it, you're able to do that without damaging the cover or the handle.
How do I clean it once it's installed?
A damp cloth with mild soap and water is generally enough to wipe down the surface. We'd suggest avoiding harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scrubbing pads, since those can wear down the surface faster than normal use would.
Will it change how the handle feels when I use it?
